Xbox 360 price finally revealed

Link here

Now the original Xbox didn't really strike my fancy and that cost way less. This one I fear will be much better, but still won't be able to wake me up from my game-induced coma.

Jaded? I think maybe. I just think that when it comes to a product priced over $300 that companies should make it worth what you pay for it. Sue me for being old-fashioned, but I liked when I bought something and knew it was going to last me. Now it's as if companies put the "Deluxe" and "Super" label on their crap and call em Gold when we all know its the same garbage.

Consumers aren't as stupid as they used to be...Well at least us Canadian's aren't.

Proof that American's have too much bloody time and money

Pop vs. Soda

Don't even start with me on how rediculous this is.

Japanese Comedic Genius at work

What were they thinking?

Well then again...I guess they probably think that a lot of our stuff is pretty odd.

I bet one of these would be good in the morning ( if you know what I mean )

Hey Charlie....Have you seen my pants? That was one sweet party.

Return of the texas chainsaw massacre

If I ever have kids, I think this would be something that I would probably do to them. Freak them out and such. Does that make me sadistic?

Random word of the day

That show was delightful. No. No. It was brilliant. No, no, no, no. There is no word to describe its perfection, so I am forced to make one up. And I’m going to do so right now. Scrumtrilescent. 2001

Random thought of the day

I thought my blog got erased there for a sec...Luckily I managed to solve the mystery of the missing website and got this back up and running. It's amazing what technology can do....to you. It's amazing how much your computer can be a pain in the ass.

Take spyware and ad-ware and all that garbage. I scan every time I start my pc and I seem to have all sorts of crap on there almost every time. Is it something I'm doing here? Is my incessant viewing of skoopy and Busted Tees giving me this insane pile of virus like material?

I'm on a full on anti-spyware campaign. I am against anyone who takes it into their hands to make some program that pesters SO many people. It makes me sick to think how much that shit probably even slows down the ENTIRE internet. Can't be any worse than WWE wrestling, though I digress. From now on we shall call them ad-goblins and they have to be dealt with in a timely manner.....(Damn ad-goblins)

Thanks for all the comments on the last posting, always appreciated. I always try to view around as well so look for some comments soon.

Shoutout to my GF, I miss you and I will see you tomorrow and we'll do something nice.

I'm listening to shoutcast and it's playing BT which is cool. Anyway I'm going to go take apart my bike and clean it.

Peace out!

New BMX. Time for some fun

So I recently bought a new BMX from the local buysell.com website ( old bargain finder ) and I got quite the deal. The ad said haro dave mirra $300 so I called the number.

The guy tells me the bike is a 2000/2001 as I figured it would be by the ad. Anyway, it turns out the bike is a 2003 Dave Mirra Haro 540 Air. Not a bad pickup considering what the ad said. =)

I am quite proud of my purchase.

Anyway onto the real goodies...I landed my first trick today and I have to say...it felt good! It's hard to balance those bikes sometimes and it can be hard when you fail over and over, but you have to keep trying.

Oh.....the trick was some sort of stall...I found this quiet little area parking lot with some high curbs and I b-hopped the front tire onto the curb, planted the back peg and stalled it....Let go of the handlebars...one time I even let go of pedals and had my feet in the air.

Not quite as cool as that guy though..

Hilarious American risk assesment blurb

Missing YOU!

Hey baby,

I don't know if you have been on my site since you left on your trip, but I wanted to let you know how much I am missing you and how great it is going to be when you get home.

I'm sitting here on the computer wondering when the next chance is that I will get to see you.

I love you.

OH.. I don't know if you noticed, but I think the dexter craze is catching on... look at the very bottom of their page.

Done, done and I'm on to the next one

Okay this is for everyone who WANTS to know how to listen to online MP3 radio, but doesn't know how.

In case you have been living under a digital rock for the past 8 years, digital radio has been a furiously growing and free source for free tunes. The funny part about this is that it's not hard to host one of these stations. Also it is free and personalized in a way that each DJ can host his own playlist of mp3 files from his own computer. This makes it incredibly easy for someone to pretend to be a DJ on the internet.

Now taking what you now know, I will introduce the system and how it works. Normally on a radio station is hosted at certain parts of a city based on location of their radio transmitter. In the case of "Shoutcast" there is no need for the large radio transmitter ( Mucho $$ for these btw ) as the transmissions are all done through the internet.

What this does is provide a stable media for online DJ's to "strut their stuff" so to speak. With no overhead costs and no risk of being taken off the air, DJ's are being encouraged to provide all sorts of digital media on thousands of stations around the world.

I encourage anyone who doesn't want to fill their hard-drives with dubious amounts of mp3's to use this system as it is truly a great invention.

Check it out here for all your radio needs.

Okay so on to how it works now.

Basically you have to have two things:

Computer with Internet connection.

Now that we have these two programs. You can open the internet explorer window to that shoutcast link I gave you earlier. or click here and proceed to enter search criteria ( example: Foo fighters ) and click "Search".

From here all you have to do is click the little button.

If you have any problems, simply email THEM hahahaha.

A perfect example of a salesman

Look at Dr.Phil. No matter what the issue is, he still manages to make a sale before the end of the call. I seriously think that people should look towards Dr.Phil if they want to be a superb salesman rather than actually solving any problems.

Random Thought of the day

Why does the US Air Force need expensive new bombers? Have the people they've been bombing over the years been complaining?

New Movie to see: Probably NOT in theaters

Penn & Teller - Aristocrats

Must see.

Let me know if you see it somewhere so I can rent it.

That is all for now.

Oil on Fire

Well it looks like the Oilers are going to be doing a little better for themselves this season - What with the new addition of Chris Pronger from St.Louis Blues and Mike Peca from the N.Y Islanders being added to the roster. Also with talks of the possiblity of Eric Lindros I think Edmonton is going to be no laughing matter when it comes to this new season.

That being said, there are still a lot of other free agents availible and on the market for Edmonton to scoop up. We have to hope that Kevin Lowe will nab as many good players as he can now that Edmonton can "afford" to pay the players now.

Still available at forward are Ziggy Palffy, Paul Kariya, Teemu Selanne, Jozef Stumpel, Jason Allison, Eric Lindros, Ray Whitney, John LeClair, Peter Bondra, Anson Carter, Yanic Perreault and Andrew Brunette.

On defence, there's Roman Hamrlik, Glen Wesley, Scott Lachance, Marcus Ragnarsson, Murray Baron and Bryan Marchment.

In goal, there's Nikolai Khabibulin, clearly the top prize, as well as Curtis Joseph, Sean Burke, Roman Cechmanek, Arturs Irbe, Chris Osgood and Steve Shields.

Yeah I'm psyched and ready to go to a few games this season with all of these new and exciting additions.

I have also included a link to a Q&A with Chris Pronger which is pretty interesting. You can find that here.

Also check out the audio BLOG of Morley Scott located on the Oilers Website. In case you don't know who Morley Scott is, he is the Oilers' radio colour commentator, and has been for a million years now.

Here a couple columns down.

Personalize your google..it's all good

Check out www.google.com/ig that is all.

Want to learn a new language? Learn Dexter

Seriously if you have ever watched this show, try to follow along with what he's saying... If you try to say what he says - the way he says it... It's so funny that it's almost a different language. Anyway check it out, its on YTV. Not that I endorse this channel in any way - what with it's retarded pre-school brain-wash, sattelite, memory chip in your head - television programming, but yeah I admit there are a few shows that pique my interest. I hope they start showing Smurfs again...hmmmm... Just think....

Nickelback, that's right!

New Nickelback album coming out! I think it's going to be pretty decent. I think you and I both know that these guys are the best that Canada has to offer right now in the lines of "rock" so at least we have something to hang on to. I was listening to 96x and they said it was a mix of Jessica Simpson and something else - I dunno I wasn't listening. Anyway I heard the single nad its pretty good, mostly acoustic - which I like.

The moral of the story is.....Radio sux ( yes you, 96x )

Dreaming at work about a special someone...

Dream Interpretation

So my baby has been having some sleeping problems so I decided that I would take a look around the internet and see if I can help her out at all. I found this dream interpretation tool that seems to hit home pretty well. You simply enter your dream and it will yield the results once you've clicked the "Click here" button.

It's very interesting what comes up...Most of the time you can skip the first paragraph and read the next to see what they think of your dreams. VERY cool program...Try it out here!

p.s. Feel free to leave comments on any of these posts as it is open for everyone!
